OOTS Game (5/5) Jul 26, 2010 Anonymous
Pretty awesome game, takes a few minutes to get started but once you do it kicks some ass.
AWESOME (5/5) Mar 28, 2010 Mark Pesaro IT
I had the chance to play with my mates (who bought it) when they came at my place for winter holydays, it kept us all playing all night long!
Fantastic gameplay, lots of laughs and wonderful setup.
Very easy to learn and play, thumbs up!

A must have. Definitely.
Awesome Game! (5/5) Dec 25, 2009 Bjoern von der Osten Munich DE
I bought the game from a local comic book shop here in Germany for an affordable price, and I have to say it's a really great game. I'm a big fan of the comic, and when I saw this game I just had to have it! It takes a little bit of time to get into the game for the first time, but after one has played for a few turns it becomes clear how everything works and then it's really one of the most enjoable games I have ever played! Even some of my friends that don't play any RPG games find love it!
So if you read this and havent bought this game yet - BUY IT NOW! ;) It's really worth it!
And on a side note: I read on the forum the other day that there will be no expansion - I really hope you guys change your mind. I would instantly preorder it the second it would be announced, an I think almost anyone who bought the game would do the same! So please make an expansion for this great game!
Thanks =)
Great Game (5/5) Oct 31, 2009 Anon Y. Mous
My Friend has and I want it. OOTS is my favorite comic. Great Game.
Great game but rather lengthy. (5/5) Oct 20, 2009 Anonymous
So a game to my favourite webcomic.

First: the game is incredibly funny to read. The humour of the comic has made it to 100% to the game. Very card, every page in the rulebook is good for a laugh. The game itself is also really fun to play as it has a nice balance between teamwork and in-fighting.

Though it's a rather lenghty game, you should bring time. Also it's not the most easy game to comprehend in all details. But the quick-play rules (which are in the form of a comic that is hilarious) make a good job at showing how the basics are played.
really fun game (4/5) Jul 6, 2010 eric w santa clarita ca US
after purchasing this game and playing with my friends we enjoyed the results we achieved from it. the only problems were how instead of the cards being reprinted to the updated rules, there was a FAQ instead.

although it did not affect the game play much. it did cause some headaches and arguing when fighting Xykon.

overall it was well worth the price. as well hopefully an expansion
Fun, but... (3/5) May 3, 2010 Katz Pasadena Ca US
The "grossly overlong and complex strategy game based on a popular franchise" genre is too full already. It seems like it's meant to be played cooperatively, but some of the mechanics (one player choosing a monster for another player to fight) make it conducive to a lot of bitching and moaning. There are balance issues too (nobody else has much that can match Roy's Great Cleave). The cards are funny and there are a lot of jokes from the comic, but I feel like I would have had just as good a time just looking through the deck as actually playing.
We need a sequel! (5/5) Dec 6, 2009 S. Lockwood-Childs Ca US
Not only is this one of my all-time favorite games, my whole family loves it too -- including my mother and sister who are not RPG fans! They are still able to appreciate the humor sprinkled throughout the whole game, from the instructions to character sheets to wise-cracking monsters. I've never seen any other game with characters that provide such interesting variety, and that is true even for players that have never read the comic!

The rules are somewhat complex, so expect to read the nicely-illustrated instruction book quite a few times while learning the ropes.
Hilarious Fun! (5/5) Oct 27, 2009 Jim Wrench Champaign IL US
As was mentioned above this game can take a bit of time, but after the first two or three sessions the pace picks up as everyone gets used to the rules. The quick play rules are a good start, and you'll have just as much fun reading all the cards as you will actually playing the game. Every time I play I discover a new joke that I missed the last time
